Ingredients
- 1/2 cup filtered water
- 2 thin slices of fresh ginger
- 1 tsp coarsely ground organic dandelion root
- 1 tsp coarsely ground organic roasted chicory root
- 2 organic black peppercorns cracked
- 2 organic green cardamom pods cracked
- 1 whole clove
- 1 1 inch organic cinnamon stick broken into pieces
- 1/2 cup organic milk or milk alternative
- 1 tbsp organic, raw honey
Instructions
- Combine the water, dandelion root, chicory root, cardamom, ginger, peppercorn, clove, and cinnamon in a saucepan. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, and simmer for 5 minutes, covered.
- Add your milk choice and honey, and bring to a boil again, uncovered.
- Remove from heat, and strain into a cup. Discard solids, and enjoy immediately!
