Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup filtered water
  • 2 thin slices of fresh ginger
  • 1 tsp coarsely ground organic dandelion root
  • 1 tsp coarsely ground organic roasted chicory root
  • 2 organic black peppercorns cracked
  • 2 organic green cardamom pods cracked
  • 1 whole clove
  • 1 1 inch organic cinnamon stick broken into pieces
  • 1/2 cup organic milk or milk alternative
  • 1 tbsp organic, raw honey

Instructions
 

  • Combine the water, dandelion root, chicory root, cardamom, ginger, peppercorn, clove, and cinnamon in a saucepan. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, and simmer for 5 minutes, covered.
  • Add your milk choice and honey, and bring to a boil again, uncovered.
  • Remove from heat, and strain into a cup. Discard solids, and enjoy immediately!
