The League of Women Voters Education Fund works to register voters, provide voters with election information through voter guides as well as candidate forums and debates. They challenge all efforts that threaten our democracy and limit the ability of voters to exercise their right to vote. The League is proud to be nonpartisan, neither supporting nor opposing candidates or political parties at any level of government, but always working on vital issues of concern to members and the public. The League encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
Every month MaMa Jean’s highlights a local charitable organization for our Spare Change for Change program. Canisters are available at each register for one month, and MaMa Jean’s matches donations given by our customers, up to $250.
