We take the health and safety of our team members and customers very seriously and are following the City Ordinance. If you are unable to wear a face covering please see a team member to learn about other shopping options we have available for you.  Thank you for helping us protect our community.

As we continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation, we want to make sure you are aware of the precautions and measures we are taking to ensure your safety.

What Steps has MaMa Jean’s Taken to Protect the Community?

We have implemented even more rigorous cleaning practices throughout all of our stores:

  • Reduced Hours

We have reduced our store hours to help reduce exposure and allow more time for employees to sanitize the store. Our first hour of business is reserved for our senior and immunocompromised customers. Please check our website for updated store and deli hours. 

  • Frequently sanitizing high-touch areas such as registers, scales, bathroom areas, break rooms etc… Nixall is to be used generously to sanitize surfaces throughout the store. We sanitize with the recommended dilution of Nixall. Nixall is an EPA & FDA approved cleaner that is food safe and effective. We have it at every register and customer service desk. 

  • HEPA Filtration air filters with UV lights have been installed at each location.

  • Weekly Ozone treatments at each store to sanitize and kill bacteria and viruses in the evening. No elevated ozone levels present when occupied.

  • We have gloves available to customers in the Bulk areas of each store to wear while filling your containers.

  • We have removed the majority of our testers to help prevent contamination.

How are We Looking Out For MaMa Jean’s Team Members?

  • All employees receive one FREE Elderberry shot per shift. 

  • Thermometers have been made available to all employees.

  • Gloves and masks have been provided for all employees to wear. 

  • Protective plexiglass shields have been installed at registers and customer service desks.

  • We have created areas for our employees to take breaks while encouraging social distancing.

  • We’re keeping our entrance doors open for a few hours every morning for extra fresh air.

What You Can Do to Help

  • Wear a mask! 

  • If you bring reusable bags we ask that you bag your own items.

  • Quickly shop alone or only with members of your household.

  • Please do not shake hands or engage in any physical contact.

  • Be mindful of only touching the product that you plan on purchasing.

  • Maintain a six feet distance from other shoppers and employees as best as possible.

  • Please stay home if you are exhibiting any symptoms of any transmissible disease or have a COVID-19 diagnosis. 

  • If you have any ideas, questions, or concerns about anything that we are doing or things that we could be doing, please let us know! We are open to any and all ideas.
