Guayusa Tea

If you love Yerba Mate for its nutritious green flavor and energy boost that doesn't leave you jittery, it's time to try Mate's cousin, Guayusa (gwy-yoo-suh)!

Guayusa is slightly smoother, has less caffeine than Mate, and still has just as many beneficial nutrients to support everyday well-being.

Drink Guayusa plain, or combine with herbs such as peppermint or lemongrass. If you like a sweeter tea, add a little raw honey.

To enjoy
Fill infuser with 1 tsp. of herb and place in cup
Pour 8 ounces of boiling water in cup
Let steep for 3-5 minutes, or until desired strength. Enjoy!
*Unlike black or green tea, Guayusa doesn't contain tannins and become bitter if over-steeped.
