Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 2 tbsp high quality olive oil
  • Himalayan Sea Salt and Freshly Ground Black Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425 F.
  • On a large baking sheet, toss brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt & pepper. Make sure the cut side is face-down
  • Roast brussels sprouts for 25-30 minutes. At around 20 minutes, stir the sprouts, then finish roasting.
  • Add more salt, if desired.

Notes

To make the best brussels sprouts, there are just a few guidelines that will get you there:
  • Trim off bottoms and halve the brussels sprouts
  • Roast at a high temp
  • Don't crowd the pan
  • Turn them cut side down to roast
  • Wait to stir or turn the brussels sprouts
 
The following recipe is delicious as is. If you want to add a bit of culinary flair, try adding partially cooked, chopped bacon to roast with the sprouts from the beginning. About 15 minutes before being done, add roughly chopped hazelnuts and toss to mix in and coat.
